Our Birdie Bed & Breakfast is perfect for your bird while you are on your getaway. We offer a cozy, clean, bird safe environment and friendly boarding for overnight or several weeks or a long term stay with our bird family. We are easily located close to Hwy 205 for easy access to the Portland Airport.
We are a Non-Smoking Establishment.
We proudly offer a beautiful landscaped one acre of land with organic flowers and produce we grow ourselves for your birds veiwing pleasure and taste buds. Your bird will have several large picture windows to look out (we call it, Birdie TV).
Hours of operation:
We are open six days a a week and work with your schedule on drop off and pickup. Special boarding rates for long term. If you are going on Vacation, away for the Holidays or on in Emergency we are here for your convenience. We offer six day pick up and drop off service and evening services till 7:00 p.m., holidays by appointment and closed for Christmas. Competitive rates we have Vet references available upon request.
We provide grooming, home cook organic meals for your bird.
Medical care:
We offer experienced Medical Care for birds that maybe disabled or elderly. We are also experienced in hand feeding if your baby bird needs feedings.
Safety:
We do require all birds before boarding to have a medical check or records of proof of Veterinarian care. This is for your protection as well for other birds.
Natural Disasters:
We are geared up for emergencies in case of a natural disaster. We have two backup systems because the birds always come first.
Cages:
All cages are pressure hot steamed cleaned and we use Veterinarian safe disinfectant. We provide covers and toys. All our cages are roomy California Cal Cages.
Food and Feedings:
We serve food 3 times daily of all natural bird seed Volkman with Zupreem added. From our 3000sq ft Organic Garden and Greenhouse we provide fruits and veggies fresh daily. All birds are offered a home cooked meals and treats of brown and wild rice, homemade corn bread filled with goodies.
We want this to be a good experience for you and your bird. We enjoy having them and find each and everyone of the birds a pleasure and interesting. We like our customers to feel like family.
We also offer Bird Behavioral Work for what ever maybe troubling you and your pet bird.
Fran and George are the Inn Keepers with our 8 Amazons. We were formerly Fran's Bird Rescue.
We offer 30 plus years experience with exotic birds from finches to Macaws.
As always we are here to help, educate and share the love of these beautiful creatures.
